Fun at the Coast

Well, we just got back from going to the coast. We had a blast! A whole bunch of our speech club went so that was cool. We got there late though.... still, I'm glad we went. Grandma dot also came along with the Anderson's and Goldman's (we were all later). Heehee:D But, someone wanted us to go, he called 3 times. Okay, I need to go to bed. Maybe I'll post some pics soon.

We got to go on a field trip today. It was a lot of fun. The Anderson's, Goldman's, Mc Morrows and another family went. Okay, got to go and do homework from Omnibus class.

This is the adventure of the Kruse’s camping trip.
Yesterday my family left for a camping trip up in, I forgot what it was called, anyway, it had a lake. Well, we finally got on the road at 4:00p.m with the van packed as full as we could get it. We were going over to pick up our tent and sleeping bags at the storage shed. When we got there the storage shed was locked (we didn’t pay it or something). So, that was a big problem. We were all in the van had everything else packed and ready, but… there was no tent or sleeping bags. So, we headed over to Wal-Mart. We all got out of the van and went in hoping to find a tent big enough for 10 and some pretty low priced sleeping bags. Well, God provided! We got a 3 in one tent that holds 10, and found some reasonably priced sleeping bags. So we all ran back into the car and drove off. My dad thought we were going the right way… but wasn’t really sure. By this time it was about 5:00 and we only had about an hour and a half of daylight left. We had to get there fast and set up. Finally dad just stopped at some mysterious house and asked for directions. The man told us that we were heading in the right direction… sigh. That was good to know. Then guess what happened next? We almost ran out of gas, but we didn’t, thank goodness. We finally found ourselves driving up to the camp site at about 5:50. We all loaded out again to find out that is was freezing cold outside! We started to unpack the van and get set up. The boys did an awesome job setting up the tent considering the circumstances. But there was only one problem; they found some old toys in the tent, that’s when we found out that it was a used tent. Dad and Jared did a great job of making a fire. Pretty soon everything was done and everything was dark. We ate hot dogs and had some marshmallows, yummy :) It was really fun just talking and hanging out with my family. We all got to bed at about 11:10. Let me just tell you one thing, we didn’t have the best sleep. We were all freezing; my mom said that she kept checking of Abigail and Jonathan to make sure that they weren’t frozen. Not to mention that our dog Rocky peed everywhere in the tent! We all woke up the next morning under our covers and dreading to get up. Dad finally made the call, “Wake up, we got to get the fire started.” Oh, how we all dreaded those words. So, out came 8 kiddos tired and cold. We got the fire started and ate breakfast (cereal). We all just stayed in our same cloths because no one wanted to change. Then we all sat by the fire and listened to Mom read the bible. After that us kids got to go and explore the camp ground, now that was fun. When we all got back we just talked as a family. Then we started getting ready to go. Oh, and we took lots of pictures. So, basically we had a blast despite all the problems. Mom and Dad said that we will defiantly go camping next year more in the summer. Haha:D Next week we are probably going to go to the beach with the speech club. Well, that is our adventure of camping with 10 people. I hope you enjoyed hearing about it.

Hello everyone!!! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I've just been so busy! We just got back from speech club. It was really fun! I gave my personal presentation. I guess I'll just post that. Oh, and everyone else that gave there's did a really good job.

Personal Presentation
By Destiny Kruse

There was a girl predestined for a life ahead of her. She would be in a family of ten and be the second of eight kids. That girl is me, and my name is Destiny Kruse. Today I would like to enlighten your understanding of me in 3 points, my Present, Past and Ambitions.

So, my Present: like I said before I am in a family of ten. I am 13 years old. My birthday is November 21. I enjoy speech, theology, Omnibus, being with Friends and family, Ultimate Frisbee, speech tournaments, horse riding, watching movies, scrap booking, doing my blog, knitting, travailing, playing mandolin, fiddle and guitar and just having plain old fun.

Okay, moving on to my Past, actually moving back to my past: I was born in Marble Washington in 1993. God blessed me so much by putting me in a Christian family.
Since I am the second of 8 kids I had a lot of responsibilities. I guess you could just say I learned lots of patience. I believe that God was forming be into a virtuous woman for His kingdom.

Alright, my Ambitions: I don’t know what Gods plan in my life is exactly, but I do have ambitions. My firs and foremost ambition is to serve God. If it is possible I would love to some day get married to a devoted Christian young man and have 12 kids. I want to raise them up to be world changers to advance God’s kingdom on earth and I also defiantly want to home school them.

So, in conclusion, I have talked about my present, past and ambitions.

The Lord had a plan in my life from the day I was born up until now. He knows my beginning and end. My main focus in life is to serve and glorify Him and fulfill His Destiny in me.

God's Sovereignty

When we consider the relationship of a sovereign God to a fallen world we are faced with basically four options.
1. God could decide to provide an opportunity for anyone to be saved.
2. God could provide an opportunity for all to be saved.
3. God could intervene and insure the salvation of all people.
4. God could intervene directly and insure the salvation of some people.

Which one do you believe is right and why???

About, what's new in my week

Hello everyone!!! I finally have a little time to tell y'all what is happening in my week.

Monday: Wake up at 6:00. Do some school for the morning. Then off to writing class, started at 1:13 and ended at 2:30. Then after that we had our first class of Omnibus, and boy was that fun! It lasted till about 7. Uncle Kenny does and awesome job teaching it all to us 5 kids doing it. And to wrap that day up we went to bed at about 10:30, if not later.

Tuesday: Wake up and 7:30. Did school in the morning than at 1:30 went to Omnibus class till 4:30. Than we ran home (well we didn't literally run home, heehee) and got ready to go to speech club. We had a blast as you can see on my last post. We all got to do an impromptu speech and watch 3 other kids do some speeches. That all lasted till about 9:30.We finally got home and went to bed around 10:30 again.

Wednesday/today: Woke up at about 7:20. Did school in the morning. Went to Omnibus class at 1:00 and that ended at about 4:45. Now I am at home posting on my blog.

Well, speech club has started!!! It is sooooooooooo much fun:) I'll have to post more tomorrow or in a few days about it and what we did. But, the basic thing that I wanted to say is that we had a blast and cant wait to get started on all the 500,000,000 speeches I am going to do... well, maybe not that many, heehee:D Okay, I expect to see comments! Kaila, David, Karissa, Alex and I have just stared going through a book called the "Omnibus." It is sooooooooo awesome!!! My Uncle Kenny (Kaila and Karissa's dad) is going through it with us. We just had our first class today. Well, it is getting late and I need to get to bed. I just finished reading 1-11 chapters of Genesis. (We had to do that for homework) Oh, I forgot to say, tomorrow speech club is starting. Yippee!!! Alright, talk to ya later... good night:)
