The beginning of the week...

Today is Monday, the beginning of the week. Will this week be successful? Will I accomplish my goals? Will I lean on God's understanding and not my own? Will I look to the interests of others and not myself? Will I serve others? Will I have a good attitude? Will I be nice to my siblings? Will I praise and glorify God in all that I do this week? Will I do all things through Christ who strengthens me?

These are just a few of the questions I'm asking myself right now... and, if you read this, you should be asking these questions to yourself too:D We always need to remember that our main ambition (as Christians) is to praise and glorify God in everything that we do!

Yesterday, today, and other stuff:-)

Today is another beautiful day that the Lord has made. It is so beautiful seeing the leaves changing colors and the fog down below in the city (We live on a mountain so we look down on the city).

So, since I never talked about Reformation Day, I think I will. Well, it was 10-31 and that night I watched the movie Luther with my family. I love that movie! It is so amazing to see how he was wiling to die so that we might have the truth. It’s the same with John Calvin, although he really did die. Now we know that salvation doesn’t come through works but through faith and faith alone. I love the part in the movie (if you have seen it) when he is asked to recant or or not to recant and he totally stands up to them. God sure worked through him… I pray that I will be worked though God. I’m not exactly sure what it will be. Anyway, that was about Reformation Day. :)
Yesterday my Grandmaleta left:( It was so neat to see her. I have so much to learn from her. God sure blessed me with wonderful Christian Grandparents on both sides of my family.
Today we will be going to Omnibus class again. It is the 6th or 7th week now that we have been doing it. Time sure does fly fast by fast. Right now in Omnibus we are going through (in our secondary books) the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. (I like to abbreviate it as LWW). We went through Magicians Nephew last week. We are also going through the Odyssey, and boy isn’t that weird… but we have been learning a lot. I simply love Omnibus class! You might think I don’t because of some of the remarks I have said like, “there is so much homework!” And, that is one of the hard things, but… I still love it:) And, I better get going because I still have to read 3 chapters in the LWW. Okay, talk to ya all later:)

My day and Speech!

Hi everyone! Tonight was speech club! It was lots of fun, like always. Today I just pretty much did the normal thing.
7:00 a.m, me, "Oh, I got up late!!! Get up brothers!" (they sleep another hour)
8:00 a.m, eat breakfast
8:30 a.m to 11:30, school.
12:00 p.m, eat lunch
12:45p.m till 5:00p.m, got to Omnibus
5:30p.m leave for speech club
(I ate somewhere in that time:)
9:30p.m, get back from speech:)

And that was pretty much my day. Hope you liked listening to my day:) (like you really did). Heehee... well, I hope to see everyone at speech next week:) See ya then, to the others that don't do speech, see ya some time. About, what's new in my week

Hello everyone!!! I finally have a little time to tell y'all what is happening in my week.

Monday: Wake up at 6:00. Do some school for the morning. Then off to writing class, started at 1:13 and ended at 2:30. Then after that we had our first class of Omnibus, and boy was that fun! It lasted till about 7. Uncle Kenny does and awesome job teaching it all to us 5 kids doing it. And to wrap that day up we went to bed at about 10:30, if not later.

Tuesday: Wake up and 7:30. Did school in the morning than at 1:30 went to Omnibus class till 4:30. Than we ran home (well we didn't literally run home, heehee) and got ready to go to speech club. We had a blast as you can see on my last post. We all got to do an impromptu speech and watch 3 other kids do some speeches. That all lasted till about 9:30.We finally got home and went to bed around 10:30 again.

Wednesday/today: Woke up at about 7:20. Did school in the morning. Went to Omnibus class at 1:00 and that ended at about 4:45. Now I am at home posting on my blog.
