My day...

Well Hello everyone!!! I am just going to give you a quick overview of my day.

1. Woke up.
2. Went and played Tennis with my Uncle John and Karissa. (I did horrible).
3. Had lunch with Uncle John and Karissa. (We went to Sonic).
4. Got home.
5. Did my chores.
6. Help put up Devin's Zip Line that Nathan gave him. (It was hard finding the tree's to put it on).
7. Finally... we got the Zip Line up.
8. Showed Uncle John some Drawings I did.
9. Uncle John and Aunt Ginger left, so I had to say good bye.
10. And right now I am doing my blog.

Well, that's pretty much my day. I'm sure that there was a little bit more I did that I failed to mention... but this is just an overview of the day. Ok, I got to go. God bless.

How is the zipline working for you guys?
Oh, and by the way, it wasn't just Nathan who gave it to him...it was all of us. :)

Good post!

It's working pretty well. The only problem is that we need to put it a little bit up more on the tree so you don’t hit the ground going down. Oh, and also we need one of those bungee cords that you guys have. Sorry that I failed to mention all of you, heehee:) Ok, talk to ya later.

An inexpensive way to have something to stop the rider is an old towel. Just take an old towel and wrap it with some duct tape around the cable where you want the rider to stop. The towel gets caught in the trolley and stops it. You'll want to make sure the towel is really tight on the cable otherwise it will just slide to the end of the zipline.
Of course, this method will be more jerky than the bungee but it keeps you from hitting the tree. :)

Oh cool. We'll have to check that out. Then maybe I'll get up the nerve to go down it. Heehee:) Don’t tell Nathan. Haha:)

Hey Destiny!
I just tried out the towel thing and it didn't work very well. It just gave me a big jerk and then I ripped right through it. It's dangerous with 150 footers. Forget I recommended it. :-)

So don't try the towel thing.
