So New Years....

...is coming up! It's in a couple days to be precise! And I'm sure everyone's been somewhat thinking about what kinda goals they might make, what they want to do this year etc.... (myself included.)

::sigh::

I'm not quite sure what I want to accomplish this year though. Perhaps it will be to read the bible completely through, or consistently post on my blog every single day... :) But whatever it may be, I want to actually follow through with it this year! I tend to be very un-consistent... I don't like schedules or being told what to do with my time. But this year, I want to challenge myself, and complete my new-years-resolution (whatever it may be :D).


Anyway, don't know why I just told you that... but I did... so umm... yeah :-/

Blonde's Year in Review-

This should give you a good laugh!!! :)


January - Took new scarf back to store because it was too tight.

February - Fired from pharmacy job for failing to print labels....."duh"....bottles won't fit in typewriter!!!

March - Got excited....finished jigsaw puzzle in 6 months..... box said "2-4 years!"

April - Trapped on escalator for hours.....power went out!!!

May - Tried to make Kool-Aid.....8 cups of water won't fit into those little packets!!!

June - Tried to go water skiing.... couldn't find a lake with a slope.

July - Lost breast stroke swimming competition.....learned later, other swimmers cheated, they used their arms!!!

August - Got locked out of car in rain storm..... car swamped, because top was down.

September - The capital of California is "C".....isn't it???

October - Hate M&M's.....they are so hard to peel.

November - Baked turkey for 4 1/2 days..... instructions said 1 hour per pound and I weigh 108!!!

December - Couldn't call 911....."duh"..... there's no "eleven" button on the phone!!!

Speech-

Well I figured, since the January Medford tournament is coming up.. I usually (well at least in past years) have done a post on what i'm going to do for speech this year... so, I thought I better post and not break the tradition.

So here you are, my post about speech- :)

Like I said earlier, the Medford tourney is near the end of January. So my whole family (well those who are competing at least) have been frantically searching the internet, reading books, watching movies, etc. to get ideas on what to do for interps!

I'm doing a duo with David.. which means I will mainly be writing the script, and figuring out for sure what we're doing.

And I think I've figured it out.

"The Scarlet Pimpernel" will be our duo for this year! What do you think? will it be good? or what? haha... idk, I'm a little worried seeing as I just read the book in two days and we just made the decision to do it 3 days ago.. but I figured I might as well make the decision so I can just go ahead and write the script!

So yup. that's it.

As far as my dramatic goes... well, I'm probably going to be doing "The Last Disciple" which has a ton of sad stories inside the book.. but I'll be doing just one of them. The script is written, I just gotta memorize it etc.

So yup.

As for life in general.. well it's good. We got our Christmas tree up, and we even put lights up outside, which is super cool! cause we've never done that before. :)

So yup.... haha! (this is last time I'm gonna say that, I promise ;D)
