I love this verse

"I can do all things through
Christ who strengthens me."
~Philippians 4:13~
I love this verse. I just read a book recently about John Bunyan's daughter, Mary Bunyan. In the book its all about when she was ten years old. She was blind and had one sister and one brother at the time. Her own real mother had died, but her father remarried. Anyway, in the book she think she can do everything on her own strength, she doesn't think she needs any help. But everyone needs help whether their blind or not. So she finally (at the end of the book) gives herself to God , meaning, doesn't do things on her own strength but though Him. It's a really good book, you should read it. It's called the Tinkers Daughter.
I just thought that was a good analogy how we cant do everything on own own strength. I'm the type of girl who also thinks sometimes that I can do everything by myself and don't need God's strength, but slowly I just start to break down. Now every day I have to remind myself to never try and do everything on my own, but really lean into God and say this verse over and over again.
So now I guess I'll tell a little something about my day. We woke up and did school. Did you get that, heehee. Well, I could go into detail... but I don't want to right now. Alright, I better get going, good bye, oh, and God bless.

Hey that's kind of ironic because I'm reading Pilgrim's Progress right now, by John Bunyan. It's been good.
I also really like that verse. Your commentary on it is really good too.
It makes me think of Romans 6- "Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but ALIVE to God in CHRIST JESUS."
Good Post!
